Welcome back everyone!

We extend a special welcome to our new Junior Infants - Danny, Millie, Allie Mae, Lorcan and Ruby!

Our annual meeting with parents, Board of Management and staff will take place on Monday, 25th September at 7.30pm.

 

Scoil na Críon Coille is a rural, two-teacher primary school in the parish of Lisdowney in north Kilkenny.

There are thirty children enrolled in the school. The principal, Ms. Tierney, teaches in the junior room and Ms. Dunne teaches in the senior room. Ms. O'Neill is our special education teacher. We have a Special Needs Assistant in the junior room, Miss Brennan and our hard-working secretary is Karen Cahill.

We are particularly proud of our school which was completely refurbished in 2007 and is immaculately kept by our care takers, Peggy Hamilton and Michael Brophy. The school grounds includes vast play areas for the children, including a hurling pitch, and lovely gardens for our planting activities.

We hope that you enjoy exploring our school on our new website.
